To find Olive’s Cottage, leave Launceston taking the East Tamar Highway (A8) in the direction of Georgetown. After several kilometres you have the option of turning left onto John Lees Road which takes you through Dilston to the Windermere Store or you can continue along the main highway and take the turnoff to Windermere at around the 18km mark. There is signage to Olive's at both entrances to Windermere. At the store, turn into Windermere Road. Olive’s Cottage is 2 km further on, on the river side of the road.
